Group Financial Controller - Sardinia

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a senior finance professional to join a prestigious ultra-luxury hospitality group in Sardinia as Group Financial Controller, overseeing the financial performance of a select portfolio of outstanding resort assets.

This is a highly visible and commercially focused position, combining Group Financial Control, commercial business partnering and elements of asset management. Working closely with General Managers, owners and senior stakeholders, you will play a key role in enhancing financial performance, driving profitability and supporting strategic decision-making across the two hotels.

The Role

You will have overall responsibility for financial control, reporting and performance across the portfolio, acting as a trusted commercial partner to the operational leadership teams.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning.
• Maintaining robust financial controls and overseeing treasury and cash-flow management.
• Partnering with General Managers and Heads of Department to drive profitability and operational performance.
• Analysing financial results and providing clear, commercially focused recommendations.
• Building strong relationships with owners and senior stakeholders, providing insight to support investment and business decisions.
• Supporting strategic projects, developments and asset-related initiatives across the portfolio.

About You

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller, Cluster Financial Controller or Director of Finance with a strong background in luxury or ultra-luxury hospitality.

Ideally, you will bring:

• Experience managing finance across multiple properties or a cluster environment.
• Strong commercial acumen and an excellent understanding of hotel operations.
• Proven experience working directly with owners and senior stakeholders.
• Strong financial control, reporting and analytical capabilities.
• A proactive, hands-on approach combined with the ability to operate strategically.
• Fluency in both Italian and English is essential.
• Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU as sponsorship will not be provided.
