Financial Controller

We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join an international hotel group in Zurich, offering an exciting opportunity to take on a senior leadership role within a dynamic hospitality environment.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will oversee the hotel’s finance and accounting functions, acting as a key business partner to the leadership team and driving financial performance, operational efficiency and profitability.

Key responsibilities:

• Overseeing all finance and accounting activities, including AP, AR, tax and fixed assets.
• Leading budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and cash flow management.
• Driving cost control, profitability and performance analysis across hotel operations.
• Working closely with operational teams and Revenue Management to optimise commercial performance.
• Ensuring compliance while identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
• Leading and developing the finance team.

The ideal candidate will bring:

• Several years of experience in hotel finance and financial controlling.
• Strong knowledge of hotel KPIs, budgeting and cost management.
• Proven leadership skills and a commercially focused, hands-on approach.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
